A big Hello! I’m Peso, the Pop-Up Puppy. I’m here to spread holiday joy to all mankind, and I’m starting at your house. Right under your tree. I’m going to help you string these lights on your tree and maybe make some popcorn garland… please?
But wait… I’ll be right back. I just have to run an errand down the street.

Happy Hanukkah! Maybe you forgot, but here I am to help you light the first candle on your menorah – as long as it is battery operated, of course, because I’m not allowed to play with matches. I’m ready to help you play chase the dreidl. Catch the dreidl? Chew the dreidl? What ev. Just bring on the latkes. Then maybe I’ll curl up on your lap for now ‘cause I heard I’ll be here for eight crazy nights. Where’s my new jammies?

Light those candles and bring on the sweets. I’m here for Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights. Happiness and hope will surround us as we celebrate the victory of light over darkness, of good over evil. Let’s get dancing… I can really cut a rug with my cha-cha! Exit, stage left…

So bring on the winter solstice! Whatever you call it – Yule, Yalda – and however you celebrate it – fruits, nuts, bonfires – for me, it is simply the longest sleep of the year!
