The Caped Crusader – A Pet Tale
Hello, my name’s Duper! They call me that because of my special talents – let me explain.
Ever since I was a baby dog, I’ve always amazed my owners and our family and friends (and heck, even myself) with truly spectacular feats.
Sure I can jump higher than any other dog. Sure I can catch more Frisbees than any other dog, and I sure can catch them better and faster. But I have even more special talents I’d like to tell you about.
I’m great at reorganizing my owner’s kitchen and bathroom bottom cupboards, and at inspecting to make sure fluffy white filling was used in every sofa. I dutifully guard my owner every time our evil vacuum tries to attack them, and I also perform random checks to make sure the flooring and carpets are waterproof.
I live in a mixed culture home, and over the years I’ve learned how to communicate in a variety of languages. Whether it’s ‘dog treat’, ‘golosina para perros’, ‘friandise pour chien’ or ‘petisco para cachorro’, you can count on me to get it right every time – and with lightening speed!
I guess that’s why they call me ‘Super Duper: The Caped Crusader’!
